MECA DFW ELECTIONS

Welcome to MECA DFW's webpage on the upcoming elections for our cultural organization. The election is set to take place in September 2023, and we encourage all interested members to apply by submitting their intent letters or filling out the form below.

As an organization, MECA DFW values transparency, inclusivity, and fair representation. The elections provide a crucial opportunity for our members to actively participate in shaping the future of our organization and electing leaders who share our values and goals.

If you are interested in running for the executive position, we invite you to submit your intent letters or fill out the form below. Your letter should include your name, contact information, and a brief statement outlining your qualifications, vision, and goals for the organization.

Alternatively, you can fill out the form below, which includes similar information to the letter. We will review all applications and announce the candidates in due course.

Please note that to be eligible to run for the executive position, you must be a member of MECA DFW in good standing. This means that you have attended at least 50% OF  meetings in the past year and current year, have paid your  80% of all dues, and have not been found in violation of the organization's bylaws.

The election will take place in September 2023, and all members who are in good standing will be eligible to vote. We encourage everyone to participate and have their say in shaping the future of our organization.
